Dr. Shibu T., a social activist and the founder of My Jeevan Aid Trust, has expressed his deep regret over the closure of a government-aided higher secondary school that had been providing educational services for the past 75 years in the Padanthalumoodu area of Kanyakumari district.

In an official press release issued regarding this matter, he stated:

"A school is not just a building; it is a temple of learning that shapes the dreams and future of thousands of students. It brings immense pain to see a heritage-rich school that spread the light of education in this region for 75 years halt its operations today."

The news of the school's closure has caused a massive shock among social activists, alumni, and the general public. Because of this situation, students, parents, and teachers are bound to face various severe hardships.

Therefore, the Department of Education and the Government of Tamil Nadu must immediately intervene and take appropriate action to ensure that the students' education is not affected in any manner. Dr. Shibu emphasized that necessary steps must be taken to protect the heritage and educational legacy of this school.

Furthermore, he appealed to the alumni, social welfare organizations, and the general public to unite together to protect such historically significant educational institutions. "If education grows, society will grow; if schools are protected, the future will be secured," Dr. Shibu highlighted in his statement.
