The eighth anniversary celebration of the renowned 'Gurupriyalaya Academy,' which has been producing the best music and dance artists in Kanyakumari district, was held grandly in Thingalsandhai.

World-famous film playback singer Vaikom Vijayalakshmi participated as the special guest at this event. She delighted the entire audience by singing songs in her majestic and soft voice.

A special invitation was extended at this festival to Dr. Shibu's 'My Jeevan Aid Trust,' which has been continuously providing excellent humanitarian aid and social services to poor and simple people in Kanyakumari district.

In accordance with the guidance of the trust's founder, Dr. Shibu, its coordinator Udhachikkottai Vijayan attended the festival. He presented a portrait of singer Vaikom Vijayalakshmi as a painting and read a poem praising her extraordinary musical talent.

Along with this, My Jeevan Aid Trust members Kulachal Shaji, Justin Christopher, Bharat, Vishal, Nattalam Ajith, and others participated and expressed their best wishes to singer Vaikom Vijayalakshmi.

A large number of students studying music at the academy, teachers, journalists, and several senior musicians who have received state awards from the Government of Tamil Nadu participated and graced the event.
